(4) Heat it intermittently, and let it cool naturally to 100 - 200°C. Then take it out of the furnace and put it into a single-powder drum (the single-powder drum should be preheated to prevent cracking), and activated molecular sieves should be used. How long does it take to activate the molecular sieve, and what temperature is suitable?

  1. During the refining process in the petrochemical industry, the regeneration temperature of ZSM-5 can reach 700 - 800°C, so there should be no problem heating it to 500°C.

  2. The activation temperature of the 5A molecular sieve under normal pressure is 450°C for 3 hours; the activation temperature under vacuum is 350°C for 3 hours. If the activation time is too short, the impurities adsorbed in the molecular sieve cannot be separated sufficiently, which affects the actual usage effect. There is no need to activate it for too long and waste power!


After activating the molecular sieve, it will change from light pink and white to vermilion. What exactly is the reason for this?

  1. Oxidation, alkalization, denaturation, and surface corrosion all have this effect. According to my knowledge of the activation effect of molecular sieves in industrial production, the slight pinkish situation is also quite common. It can often be seen in iron boxes. It is formed after soaking in water, and there will be rust in the water. This is also caused by the ion exchange method.

  2. In fact, at the beginning, the color of some substances is similar to that inside, but it is a bit light pink. However, after several activations, it will become very red and will not precipitate. This has indeed changed now. Yes, I mentioned the reasons such as iron ions on the previous floor. But during the whole process, I didn't come into contact with metal ions (maybe there was contact, but theoretically, the water in the reagents used does not contain metal ions, so the amount would also be extremely low). And if it is oxidized, it should be a process of slow cumulative change. Is this a sudden change in performance after cumulative changes? However, like after the color change, the basic function of the molecular sieve still exists, but I don't know if it is weaker than the normal activation effect?


A permit for entering a confined space is required to enter the interior of the container. The personnel entering should receive safety education and training for confined spaces. The dust masks of the personnel in the container must be equipped with gas masks, full sets of goggles. When entering the container, they should wear coveralls, boots, and safety belts.

  1. An oxygen meter must be used to enter the interior of the container, and professionals outside need to communicate with the workers inside regularly. The entry time should not exceed 30 minutes. Every 30 minutes, you need to leave the container and rest for 10 minutes before you can enter again.

  2. In order to prevent sudden accidents in the water tank, a life-saving rope should be hung outside the group and connected to the safety belt buckle of the personnel, and a lightning arrester can be used for rescue.

  3. The vacuum value in the stainless steel barrel may be weak. Open the exhaust screw on the barrel to remove the vacuum in the barrel.

  4. During the lifting process, pay special attention to preventing objects from falling and collision accidents.

  5. It is prohibited for the construction personnel to carry small items such as mobile phones and keys. Before entering, take out the above small items and have a designated person put them in the electronic cabinet and then store them in a safe place. There should be no debris around the top of the filling port to prevent it from falling into the container during the filling process.
